Application & Lottery Process
LOTTERY OVERVIEW
DPAC is a college-preparatory public charter school sponsored by the State Public Charter School Authority. While DPAC is a tuition-free public school open to all scholars in Clark County, the school is not affiliated with the Clark County School District and maintains a separate application and enrollment process from any district schools. As a rigorous college preparatory school, the DPAC Governing Body prepares lottery guidelines to manage enrollment cycles where there may be greater interest in the school than the school has the capacity to serve. Pursuant to NRS 386.580, if the number of scholars applying for a specific grade at DPAC should exceed the number of seats available in that grade, then applications will be chosen through a random lottery procedure. The goals of the DPAC application, lottery, and enrollment process are accessibility, fairness, and efficiency.
Note: If your scholar is already enrolled at DPAC they are not required to re-enter the lottery each year.
